Notebooks and lots of enthusiasm. Dan will try to use participant images for some of his demonstrations so bring a couple of your images on CD-ROM. A quick, inkjet print of your images will help in the selection process.
About the Instructor
Dan Burkholder received both his BA and Masters Degrees from Brooks Institute of Photography. No stranger to traditional photography, his mastery of the wet darkroom was highlighted by serving as assistant to both John Sexton and Jerry Uelsmann.
Dan has been teaching digital imaging workshops for eight years at venues including The School of the Art Institute, Chicago, The Museum of Photographic Arts, The International Center of Photography, Santa Fe Workshops, Anderson Ranch and many others. His award-winning book, Making Digital Negatives for Contact Printing, has become a standard resource in the fine-art photography community.
