Three full days to perfect your digital negatives and platinum printing skills.

Learn how to make high quality enlarged negatives without getting your hands wet.

Enter the enchanting world of hand-coated platinum/palladium printing – often described as the most beautiful of all photographic processes.

Learn about different papers, developers and methods of coating.

You will work with your own images on your laptop, taking them from virgin captures or scans to completed platinum/palladium prints. Special hands-on tutorials will teach you how to build your digital images quickly and precisely.

Create glowing platinum/palladium prints on vellum over gold leaf.

Between printing sessions you’ll dive into the meat and potatoes of digital photography, learning powerful digital techniques that let you control the composition, color and tonality of your final images.

An early morning field trip will give you the chance to make new images in the enchanting Catskill mountains (optional for those who need sleep!).
