Prerequisites
Participants should have a basic familiarity with Photoshop 6 or higher. (This simply means you should know the fundamentals of layers and making selections.)

What You Should Bring
A Notebook and lots of enthusiasm. If you tend to fall asleep no matter how energetic the presentation, you should bring your own stimulants of choice.

About the Instructor
Dan Burkholder received both his BA and Master’s Degrees from Brooks Institute of Photography. No stranger to traditional photography, his mastery of the wet darkroom was highlighted by serving as assistant to both John Sexton and Jerry Uelsmann.

Dan has been teaching digital imaging workshops for ten years at venues including The School of the Art Institute, Chicago; The Museum of Photographic Arts, San Diego; The International Center of Photography, New York; Santa Fe Workshops; Anderson Ranch and many others. His award-winning book, Making Digital Negatives for Contact Printing, has become a standard resource in the fine-art photography community. Dan’s workshops are famous for their energy, information and humor.
