About the Instructor
Dan Burkholder received both his BA and Masters Degrees from Brooks Institute of Photography. No stranger to traditional photography, his mastery of the wet darkroom was highlighted by serving as assistant to both John Sexton and Jerry Uelsmann.
Dan has been teaching digital imaging workshops for eight years at venues including The School of the Art Institute, Chicago; The Museum of Photographic Arts, San Diego; The International Center of Photography, NY; Santa Fe Workshops; Anderson Ranch and many others. His award-winning book, Making Digital Negatives for Contact Printing, has become a standard resource in the fine-art photography community. Dans workshops are famous for their energy, information and humor.
