Early one November morning in 2018, Dan Burkholder met this friendly, horse wrangler passing by on a country road in Viñales, Cuba. Preparing for his day's work, the cowboy was happy to share a few words with the group of photographers who had hiked out of town to catch the sunrise. In this print, the rich, metallic gleam from the white gold passes through the translucent vellum and gives the details a rich, etching-like quality.
