One intriguing, picturesque country in two different seasons. Take your pick and travel with Dan Burkholder to one of the most authentic corners of today's world. This is Europe from the past where friendly villagers retain an old way of life and offer travelers the warm hospitality of the rural countryside. In early summer, the farms will be lush and green with growth, offering side-of-the-road photo stops to watch people working in the fields. The adventurous winter trip is for a smaller group who will be treated to Romania's Christmas and New Year's Day colorful traditions set in a snowy landscape. Each trip is designed to give the best photo opportunities for each season.
